What we fix

Repairs first. Replacement only when it makes sense.

“We will always offer to repair your door whenever possible.” If a new door really is the better call, Al will walk you through the options.

01

Broken springs

Torsion and extension springs measured and matched to your door: the right wire gauge, diameter and length. Extension spring jobs include new pulleys and safety cables.

Springs and repairs are warrantied.

02

Openers & remotes

We sell, install and repair LiftMaster® openers, including battery-backup models, plus remotes, keypads, safety sensors and the wiring that runs to them.

03

Rollers & noise

Worn, noisy rollers swapped for heavy-duty nylon rollers rated for about 15,000 cycles and much quieter. Ask about the “silent treatment.”

04

Off-track & damaged doors

Door hit, bent or hanging crooked? We get it back on track, straighten or replace what's damaged, and check the cables before it runs again.

05

New garage doors

When a repair isn't worth it, we'll help you pick and install a new door that fits your home and your budget, with no pressure to spend more than you need.

06

Tune-ups & weather seals

Service calls include adjustments, lubrication of every moving part and a 16-point inspection. We also replace worn bottom seals that let in light, water and critters.

Door won't open? Call before you force it.

A loud bang from the garage usually means a spring let go. The door suddenly feels like it weighs a ton, and the opener strains or quits. Emergency service is available. Call and Al will tell you what's likely wrong over the phone.

Don't try to lift or force a door with a broken spring, and don't adjust the springs yourself. They're under extreme tension and should only be replaced by a trained technician.

Nothing broken yet?

Florida heat, salt air and summer storms are hard on springs, rollers and openers. A tune-up catches the worn part before it strands your car in the garage, and it helps the opener last longer.

Good to know

Common questions

How do I know if my spring is broken?

Common signs are a loud bang from the garage, a gap in the torsion spring above the door, a door that feels very heavy or only lifts a few inches, or an opener that hums and strains. If you see any of these, stop using the opener and call. Don't try to force the door up.

Should I repair or replace my door?

Most problems (springs, rollers, cables, openers, a door off track) can be repaired. We always offer the repair first when it makes sense. If panels are badly damaged or the door is near the end of its life, we'll explain the options and let you decide.

Should I replace both springs if only one broke?

On a two-spring door the springs usually wear at the same rate, so when one breaks the other is often close behind. Replacing both at once is common. We'll look at yours and tell you what we recommend.

Can you give me an idea of the problem over the phone?

Often, yes. Describe what's happening and Al can usually tell you what's likely wrong before anyone comes out. Several reviewers mention getting a straight answer and a quote on the first call.

What areas do you serve?

We're based in Cape Coral and serve all of Lee County, including Fort Myers, North Fort Myers, Lehigh Acres, Estero and Bonita Springs.
